Fans Stay up to Purchase Book at Midnight

Hundreds of fans took part in festivities hosted by Bestsellers Cafe and Grapevine Travelers yesterday in Medford Square to celebrate the debut of the last book in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.   The book officially went on sale at midnight and many fans were happy to wait up to get their hands on a copy.  

Harry Potter and friends sample mead- wine made from honey, water, and yeast-  at Grapevine Travelers.  Wait, are they old enough?  Upon closer inspection, it was determined it was only muggles Marie Cassidy, Mary Sbuttoni, and Jim Pert impersonating Harry and his friends (and they are all of age).

Fans purchased novelty items like these buttons from a party hosted by Bestsellers’ Cafe at ERA Andrew Realty.  Part of the proceeds benefited the Medford Family Network.
